Antti Tolvi: Electromagnetism

In piece we look the world through the diffraction glasses.

In the work Electromagnetism we look at the world through diffraction glasses and mute its sounds with earmuffs. It is as if we are entering a new, quiet, wider state of vision. Diffraction glasses open the spectrum of incoming rays of light. This piece is a composition which shows the invisible to us and introduces us to something that is lighter than the lightest thing. This immersive work plays with colours, shapes, body sensations, and sounds. In lightest thing In Electromagnetism, we can see behind the material. There, where everything is in constant motion, nothing permanent and fixed can be found. There everything is always moving towards balance in the most direct way possible, like water, which is always in balance, peace, calm.
