Artist Collective KUNST: Artgeologists

A performative light artwork and installation. Five Artgeologists dressed in glow-in-the-dark overalls investigate the past and the present of mankind.

Artgeologists is a performative light artwork and installation. Six Artgeologists dressed in glow-in-the-dark overalls investigate the past and the present of mankind. Artgeologists study cultural and social change. They investigate the events that have influenced the formation of the place and the traces left by human activity in the environment. The glowing Artgeologists signify and confine the findings and space. The workwear the Artgeologists use charge with light in specific light pouches hanging at the Suomenlinna Levyhalli and release a phosphorus glow in darkness.
