Janne Parviainen: UV -window painting

The participants draw on a window/windows with fluorescent colored, water based chalk markers which are then illuminated with UV-lights.

UV- installations on a window. The participants draw on a window/windows with fluorescent colored, water based chalk markers which are then illuminated with UV-lights. The installation can be left to public display as long as desired and the washed away with water. The installation must be made indoors, the markers will dilute with rain if on the outside. The guiding artist shows different techniques to draw, controls the work with different themes and can also add his own artwork on the window if needed. The markers are toxic free and can be washed away from clothes and floor.

Equipment and materials needed from the client: UV- spotlights if more than two 2 m x 1.5 m windows to be illuminated.

Equipment provided by the teacher: UV spotlights for two 2 x 1,5 m windows and fluorescent markers.

Space requirements (size, darkness etc): Any window with space enough to draw on the inside of the glass (indoors), electricity sockets for power. The installation works best if the space behind the window is dark or in low light.

Possibilities to travel: please state, for example, if you prefer not to fly, where are you willing to travel / not travel etc.: No restrictions
