Johanna Häiväoja: Apparition

A light projection on a metal mesh structure, at the height of 5 meters, in a catholic church.

Häiväoja called the artwork Apparition as a glimpse to the emplacement and to the time of the year. However, her main inspiration lies in space travel, and she wanted to offer a vision in the dark, that could send our spirits wandering into the night sky and beyond.

ENSBA, Paris, France, b. 1960, lives in Normandy & Vantaa.
