Alexander Salvesen: Centre of Our Universe

Centre of Our Universe is a two channel analog light projection, 2019

Centre of Our Universe deals with the questions of gravity. What is in the centre of our worlds and lives? Stripped down to the fundamentals our existence is based on few chemical components and reactions. One of them is water, which has been the inspiration for this work. Through this and by using recycled overhead projectors and glass the work wants to raise the question of importance in the current ongoing ecological catastrophe.
