The work consists of seven luminous pillars, 2019
The idea of the work was to build a light-glow space formed by columns that the viewer can walk through. The work depicts different sources: Spring water seeps from below the ground, or a light source warms and illuminates. The Lähde can also be something that radiates. We are drawn to light and especially in the dark we seek light. The materials of the work - the buckets - have already achieved an iconic and humorous meaning in our Finnish society. We get buckets from markets to draw something.
