Teo Lanerva: Liquid Line

A conversation with light and gravity.

In this installation, light engages in a discussion with gravity using water as an interpreter. Light, which is normally beyond the reach of gravity, bends when reflected through swinging water. Yet, it always returns to its starting point as if it had mass. This discussion between the elements creates a motion that is both familiar and strange at the same time. The work is an approximately 5 minute long loop.

Master of Arts (theatre and drama), b. 1988, lives in Espoo, Finland
